The police released surveillance footage documenting the incident. Bon Jovi patiently spoke with the woman and eventually pulled her back over the bridge railing with the help of his production assistant. He then comforted her with a hug.

Shortly after the incident, fire and police arrived at the scene. Police Chief John Drake thanked Jon Bon Jovi and his team on X: “A shoutout to Jon Bon Jovi and his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.”
