Jon Bon Jovi helped a woman who wanted to jump off a bridge in Nashville, United States.

The news was reported by the city’s police department, which wrote on its social media that the musician convinced the woman not to jump into the waters of the Cumberland River.

In the same post, the Nashville authorities included a video showing a woman on the edge of the bridge, appearing to contemplate jumping. Jon Bon Jovi, who was on-site filming a video, approached the lady and dissuaded her from jumping before giving her a hug.

In a statement, Nashville Police Chief John Drake praised the musician’s gesture, reminding that “we all depend on each other to keep safe.”
