Standing Construct Honda’s Jonas, who was fifth in the first race, was in sixth position on the first lap of the second race, but moved up to fifth shortly after. On the other hand, in the eighth lap, Jonas overtook the Swiss Jeremy Siever and took the fourth place, which he defended until the finish.

Also in the second race, the Spaniard Jorge Prado (“GasGas”) was the first to cross the finish line, the second place was taken by the Slovenian Tim Gajsers (“Honda”), and the top three was completed by the Dutch Jeffrey Herlings (KTM). Jonas finished 49.572 seconds behind Prado.

Tomas Shileika did not continue the race after three laps.

In the sum of both races, Prado celebrated a convincing victory with 50 points, Gejsers was second with 44 points, Herling’s 40 points gave him third place, while Jonas with 34 points was immediately outside the top three.

After the first three stages, Prado is the leader in the overall standings of the world championship with 174 points, Gajser is in second place with 157 points, and Herlings completes the top three with 125 points. Jonas is in fifth position with 113 points.

In the previous season, the Spanish Jorge Prado (“GasGas”) won the overall standings, leaving Romain Fevre and the Swiss Jeremy Siever behind, but Jonas finished 19th with several injuries.
