“Marvel Actor Jonathan Majors on Trial for Domestic Violence, Accused by Ex-Girlfriend of Aggression and Control”

The actor known for his role in the Disney+ series “Loki,” Jonathan Majors, is currently on trial for domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. Jabbari testified in a Manhattan courtroom about the fear she experienced during her relationship with Majors, describing his behavior as predominant and aggressive.

The couple met in the UK during the filming of Marvel/Disney’s “Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” in 2021, and according to Jabbari, they spent nearly every day together for several months. She also expressed her concern about Majors’ early proclamation of love, indicating an early red flag in their relationship.

The trial is centered around an incident that occurred on March 25 near Majors’ Chelsea apartment, resulting in his arrest. Jabbari testified to experiencing verbal abuse from Majors, including incidents of rage and control. She also described a disturbing interaction in the UK where Majors allegedly contemplated suicide.

The defense attorney claims that Jabbari was actually the aggressor on the night of the incident, accusing her of flying into a jealous rage over text messages from another woman on Majors’ phone. Digital evidence analyst Ryan Strick presented surveillance videos and photographs to the jury tracking Majors and Jabbari’s movements on the night in question.

Following the trial, Majors has faced professional consequences, including being dropped by his management company and publicist, as well as the removal of a film from Disney’s release schedule. Despite his success in the “Loki” series, Majors’ future in the industry remains uncertain as he faces these legal and professional challenges.
