A man in Jönköping is charged with a series of sex crimes against several children, local media reports.
The vulnerable girls are between the ages of 9 and 14. The man, who is in his 50s, came into contact with them on social media.
He had then managed or tried to get the girls to take “slightly dressed” pictures of themselves. There are also examples where he made children perform sexual acts on themselves.
The man has been in custody since September last year. He is charged with, among other things, rape of a child, sexual abuse of a child, exploitation of children for sexual posing and child pornography offences.
The crimes were committed last year.
