The Jordanian Ministry of Interior decided to allow Libyans to enter the Kingdom without prior approvals.
According to Jordanian television, these decisions come as a result of separate meetings recently held by Jordanian Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan with the relevant health authorities to take steps to simplify procedures related to medical tourism.
For his part, Jordanian Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya explained that they agreed to allow nationals of the State of Libya to come to Jordan without the need for prior approval from the Ministry of Interior.
Al-Faraya added that travel requirements for Libyans will be limited to the condition that they possess valid passports for a period of no less than 3 months, so that they will be able to obtain an entry visa through the e-visa website or upon arrival at the border centers, according to the minister.
According to Jordanian TV, these recent simplified procedures to attract medical tourists from Libya contribute to enhancing the marketing of Jordan’s medical tourism products in destinations interested in these services, she said.
Royal Jordanian Airlines had resumed its flights to Tripoli after a break of more than 10 years.
