Watan Today: The Tourism Promotion Authority participated in the tourism exhibition “Top Riza”, which is held in the capital of France, Paris, through the distinguished pavilion of Jordan, during the period from September 17-19, with the participation of 18 tourism and travel. offices in addition to the Royal Jordanian Airlines, the Petra Regional Authority, and the Petra Aqaba Regional Authority.
According to a statement from the Authority today, Thursday, the Director General of the Authority for the Promotion of Tourism, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, that the French International Travel Market exhibition “Top Risa” is one of the most important exhibitions and represents an opportunity to encourage the French tourism movement to come to the Kingdom and establish partnerships with tourism and travel offices local and their French counterparts.
During his presence in the Jordanian Pavilion, Arabiyat presented the incentive measures aimed at attracting foreign tourists in general and French tourists in particular, hoping that the Jordanian Pavilion would receive attention from the press and the French media.
He emphasized the importance of Jordanian tourism, its distinction, and the diversity of its product in view of its security, safety and stability, despite the circumstances that previously affected tourism due to the effects of the Corona epidemic .
He added that Jordan’s participation in this exhibition is part of the Kingdom’s efforts to improve the tourism sector and introduce the world to its diversity and importance, as the Jordanian pavilion at the exhibition displays a group of tourism products and services which reflects the country’s rich heritage. and scenic nature, including historic sites as well as ecotourism and sustainable projects.
Arabiyat pointed out that participating in the “Top Risa” exhibition is a great opportunity to showcase the unique tourism experiences that Jordan offers, and emphasized that through this participation we aim to improve communication with global tourism industry partners and open new interests for cooperation and investment i. the sector.
At the edge of the exhibition, a series of meetings and seminars will be organized with the participation of experts in the field of tourism to discuss the latest trends and challenges in the sector, giving the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience among the participants.
Some visitors to the Jordan Pavilion expressed their admiration for the design of the main entrance to the pavilion, which was inspired by Hadrian’s Arch in the ancient city of Jerash.
