On Sunday, Jordan’s state television announced that King Abdullah bin Al Hussein participated in an airdrop operation to provide aid to the people of the Gaza Strip.
Al Mamlaka TV, Jordan’s state-run television channel, broadcast footage of the Jordanian monarch in military uniform on board a military plane as part of the latest airdrop of urgent medical supplies to field hospitals run by Jordan in the war-torn enclave.
It remains unclear whether the Jordanian monarch’s participation in the landing operation was limited to a moral aspect or if he also fulfilled other duties during the operation.
According to the channel’s website, the Jordanian Armed Forces and the Dutch Armed Forces recently conducted an airdrop around the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza/77, north of the Gaza Strip.
