Jorge Romero reiterates support for municipal governments

The president of National Action Party (PAN), Jorge Romerocondemned the political use of local congresses in the country with a majority of Morena and its allies.

According to Jorge Romero, these congresses are turning against the municipal presidencies that are governed by the PAN, by not authorizing their budget next 2025.

He states that local deputies choose to take a partisan stanceputting their needs above those of the citizens, beyond their political alignment.

Pointing out that the budgets authorized by local congresses are insufficient in the municipal presidencies led by National Action.

“The local deputies of Morena and their allies prefer to put their partisan interests above the needs of the citizens, for authorizing insufficient budgets for next year for some municipal presidencies led by leaders of our party such as Hermosillo, Mérida and Zacatecas ”.

Jorge Romero suggested that these political decisions would be being suggested by the national leadership of Morenaand demanded that the PAN municipalities.

He asked that mayors not be pressured to align themselves with an ideology, since needs and problems do not know colors or parties, they must govern for the entire population.

Likewise, Jorge Romero stated that history has shown that, despite budget cuts, PAN governments always deliver results.

However, with a larger budget it could help more people with social projectssecurity and higher quality services in general.

“Do not put pressure on the mayors, give them what they deserve so that they help the people and govern without partisan distinctions, because the needs and problems have no colors.”

Finally, Jorge Romerocalled on the mayors of the PAN to continue working for citizens.

Along with this, Jorge Romero offered them from the national leadership of the PAN, that he will accompany them in their legitimate demands, as is the case of this budgetary limitation.

Stating that governments and legislators of the ruling party have not been able to live up to the needs of the citizens of Mexico, by not having feasible solutions for them.

In addition to declaring that everyone within the party will work in benefit of citizensdespite the obstacles that are placed in front of them.

“They are not alone in the face of some state governments or ruling party legislators who have not known how to rise to the occasion, Mexicans need solutions to their demands in quality of services and security, among others; “We will work together for the benefit of the citizens.”
