The team coached by Vasco Botelho da Costa drew 1-1 with Porto B this morning, in the 20th round of League 2, played at the Magalhães Pessoa stadium.
The first goal of the game was scored in the 19th minute, by Porto player Abraham Marcus. UDL tied in one of the last moments of the first half, with a header from Bura (Miguel Granja)
From the 57th minute onwards, the unionists started to play with one more member, due to the expulsion of Porto defender Zé Pedro, but the result remained unchanged until the end of the game.
This is the sixth draw achieved this season by União de Leiria, which has also added up to as many victories and eight defeats. It remains in 12th position in League 2.
Next Tuesday, the unionist team will face Sporting Clube de Portugal, in a Portuguese Cup game. The meeting will take place at the Dr. Magalhães Pessoa Municipal Stadium, in Leiria, from 8:45 pm.
