Jose Agustin Ortiz Pinchettiholder of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Electoral Crimes (Fede), died at the age of 87.
He was appointed by the Attorney General of the Republic, Alejandro Gertz Manero, on February 8, 2019 as head of Fede.

Served as Secretary of Government of the Federal District (2000-2003)during the López Obrador administration.
