“I didn’t know I was a man” – José Castelo Branco recalls the episode before the wedding
José Castelo Branco didn’t know what his son went through
“People end up being bad when they don’t want to understand something. At 16, I started to have another perspective. People started to flatter me to get access to parties or go to the VIP area at festivals, for example”he recalled.
Despite guaranteeing that he does not regret anything about what he went through, Guilherme confessed to having suffered. “When I was 12 or 13 years old, there was a situation at school where they tried to [agredir-me fisicamente]. I can say that I never had any physical confrontation, I did it for my father.”he confided.
“The worst thing that happened to me was being pushed against the wall. I hit my head against the wall, but I decided not to respond and didn’t turn around.”Guilherme told his father, during the interview in which they were sitting face to face.
“They were older boys and it was at those times that I was most shaken. I didn’t tell him because I didn’t think anything would be resolved, I wanted to face my own issues.”he said, finally.
