Even Wikipedia had given him up for dead. José Luis Perales has had to deny the information published in various media, most of it in South America, where the Spanish singer was considered dead.
The singer-songwriter has published a video on Twitter denying such information. “I’m more alive than ever,” he says. «I speak to you from London, a wonderful place where I have spent a few days with my children and my wife. Someone, with a bad idea, has said that I have died, and I am more alive than ever, happier than ever, and tomorrow we will be seeing each other in Spain, “he said through social networks.
The composer, who lives in Castejón (Cuenca), was the victim of a hoax due to the spread of false news in which he was presumed dead after dying of a heart attack. The post appeared on different social media accounts, most of them linked to South American websites.
