The former president of Uruguay, José Mujica, sent a message of support to Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard for his aspiration to the Presidency, in which he asks him not to forget the south and attend to those most in need.

“Dear Marcelo Ebrard, I just found out that you are going to bet your commitment, your hope to try to keep your party on the path of achievements in which it is. I believe and I know that because of your temperament you are going to do your best of you“, he expressed.

The ex-president asked him to do everything possible for Mexico and America, for their societies and above all for those who are most neglected in the distribution of goods and hope as a result of the enormous social debt that we have in Latin America.

“I know that Mexico is obliged to look to the north, but don’t forget to look to the south, because the south is behind your back and, after all, we speak the same language,” he pointed.

In addition, he hoped that he will have the opportunity to give him a “mate grip”.

“Goodbye and long live Mexico!, and long live our America!”, concluded.
