He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Public Management from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education; a Master’s degree in Military Sciences with a mention in strategic planning from the Chilean War Academy, as well as a Master’s degree in National Security from the National Defense College.

Evelyn Salgado stressed that she instructed him to work tirelessly, with the determination and great responsibility that the position deserves, because security is a priority issue.
