Journalist arrested in Venezuela accentuates Chavez’s repression

Despite the seriousness of the events, the authorities did not offer details about Longo’s arrest or report any charges against him. The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) expressed concern about the growing repression of freedom of expression.
