Free press? End of fake news? The wave of departures at News 13 continues, when reporter Efrat Finkel also announced this evening (Thursday) in a post she uploaded to her personal Facebook about her departure from the channel where she worked for the past year.

In doing so, Finkel increases the list of departures in the channel’s news company, which only recently parted ways with Ayla Hasson, who moved here on 11 in a move that shook the media market, and Sharon Gal, who moved to channel 14, which also caused an immediate effect.

Finkel opened and wrote: “The heart pays a price for every transition like this, every time. Just a year ago, I felt that I was being torn from Jerusalem, from my beloved friends on Channel 14, and here I am again being torn from the whole life I built for myself in Haifa. At least this time, this big and complex change brought with it joy The greatest of my life, and a happiness I had already stopped hoping and believing would come.”

“So I say goodbye to News 13 and my beloved colleagues, some of whom have become life-long friends, say hello to all my beloved northern reporters and regional speakers who are true friends – and embark on a new path. I don’t know where it will lead me, but at least this time I’m doing it hand in hand with Kobi, in what peace It’s inexplicable that all my life I’ve just been waiting for her,” she added at the end.
