As if the country were not enough to mourn the death of innocent children, victims of a cowardly and demonic attack carried out by a 25-year-old murderer in a day care center in Blumenau, we also had to watch the politicization of the massacre by some figures, including them Globo commentator Octávio Guedes.
During his participation in Globonews, the closed news channel of the Globo group, the commentator associated the massacre at the day care center with the “extreme right”, making the same sensationalist association that former federal deputy Jean Wyllys had also made.
“This is a problem of a sick society”, said Guedes, who also used the same situation to attack homeschooling, also known by the English term homeschooling, and all without presenting any concrete evidence of correlation between one thing and another.
Octávio Guedes said that society is “sickened by a hate speech against the school, according to which the school is a political party, universities are potheads’ dens, teachers are not teaching decent things, homeschooling is good.”
“So, we have a broth within this hate speech that I identify the extreme right, which brought Bolsonaro to power, as the great propagator of this speech”, completed the Globonews commentator.

Through social media, political and journalistic personalities reacted to the Globo commentator’s speech. The most voted state deputy in Minas Gerais, Bruno Engler, accused Guedes of being a “DESPIBLE SICK!”, he wrote it in capital letters.
Nikolas Ferreira too reacted: “In times of pain, instead of the left asking for tougher and more rigid penalties against criminals, or debating the issue seriously and in depth, they are playing politics on top of children’s coffins to blame a political opponent. They will treat themselves”, commented the federal deputy.
Pastor and writer Geremias Couto also showed indignation. In reference to the commentator, he said that “this is not journalism! Never was! It’s ‘hate speech’ they talk so much about!”
Anthropologist and writer Flávio Gordon, in turn, recalled that the person responsible for the massacre at the day care center in Blumenau had already worked with the police. He accused the left of being responsible for defending a vision of the flexibility of incarceration.
“The Minister of Human Rights is an advocate of extrication. Because it was the ideology of extrication that allowed the monster from Blumenau, despite several passages by the police, to be out of jail and free to commit the barbarity”, these Gordon. Watch:
