Sidonie Perceval, an established French writer, gave up writing after the loss of her husband. She is invited to Japan for the re-edition of her first book, she is welcomed by the local publisher who accompanies her to Kyoto, the city of sanctuaries and temples. In their movements among the flowers of Japanese spring, she slowly begins to open up. But the ghost of her husband does not abandon her.
