A few months ago, as I was driving down an Austrian country road in my father’s car to swim in a large mountain lake, I saw yellow neon billboards on the side of the road announcing an over 30s party in stability of a village event. I couldn’t pay attention to the surprise that took me after all, I promised my mother who was sitting next to me, an iced coffee with a view. So I just said, “Ha ha, funny!” and pointed to the ad, and nodded silently, not understanding what I was trying to say.
