The Chabad emissary to the United Arab Emirates, Rabbi Levi Duchman, came into the marriage of Leah Haddad, the daughter of Chabad emissaries in Brussels, Belgium, Rabbi Menachem and Batsheva Haddad.
Rabbi Duchman serves as the chief rabbi of the Jewish community in the United Arab Emirates and is even officially recognized as a rabbi by the local authorities.
