Juan Ramón Amores, Pilar Zamora and Miguel Ángel de la Rosa, new regional senators of Castilla-La Mancha

The Plenary of the Parliament of Castilla-La Mancha has elected in its session this Thursday Juan Ramón Amores (PSOE), mayor of La Roda; Pilar Zamora (PSOE), former mayor of Ciudad Real, and Miguel Ángel de la Rosa (PP), regional deputy secretary of the PP, as senators by regional designation, in a round of voting in which the president of the Transparency Council has also been elected of the region and twelve people who make up the Board of Directors of the public entity of Radio-Television Castilla-La Mancha.

In a session chaired by Pablo Bellido, which finally began at the stroke of twelve in the morning, the ballot box vote was carried out for the election of three representatives to the Senate. The groups had already presented their proposals, of which the socialist candidate Amores, the also socialist Zamora and the popular candidate De la Rosa Martín finally obtained a seat in the Upper House, with 9, 9 and 11 votes, respectively, all of them managing to obtain, as the Regulation marks, the support of at least a quarter of the support of the Autonomous Chamber.

In this Thursday’s session, Fernando Muñoz Jiménez has also been elected as president of the Castilla-La Mancha Transparency Council, in a second vote in which the socialist proposal has gone ahead by a majority of 17 votes compared to 16, in which Elena Carrasco Valera and María Jesús Villaverde Malagón also appear as first and second associates.

CMM Board of Directors

Previously, the first of the points addressed was the vote on the list of candidates to form part of the Board of Directors of the Public Entity of Radio-Television of Castilla-La Mancha, which has gone ahead unanimously. They are Patrocinio Gómez Córcoles, Noelia García Gutiérrez, Miguel Nieto González, María Soledad Herrero Sainz, José Francisco Rivas Cid and Manuela Casado Rubio for the Socialist Group; Gonzalo Martínez Rodríguez, Armentario López Castillo, Miguel Ángel Igualada Chamón, Manuel Borja Menchen and Ignacio Ruiz Guerra for the Popular Group; and José Luis Arcángel Fernández for Vox.

This Thursday’s session, with three points on the agenda, has been carried out by having enabled the Bureau of the regional Courts on this occasion in the month of August as a working day for an extraordinary period.
