Jude Law and the secrets of “Fantastic Beasts”, Léa Seydoux wife-lover 1920s: Easter films in cinemas and on platforms

by time news

The three competitors of Fantastic beasts I am the magi-zoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), the wizard / super cool Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law), and the black soul Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen), dark pretender for control of the wizarding world, Dumbledore’s schoolmate with whom he made a pact of non-belligerence in idyllic times, when one was linked to the other in a relationship gender fluid. The three boys, in spite of the #metoothey share the cake of Good and Evil: the candid scientist Newt, together with Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, who carries fantastic animals in his pocket and knows how to tame the most terrible monsters, the wise Dumbledore, always in double-breasted, with a hipster beard and smooth forelockthe Nazi necromancer Grindelwald who wants to make non-wizard Muggle meatballs.
The battle, scripted by JK Rowling with Steve Kloves, takes place in the mountains of Bhutan, where Grindelwald has his icy fortress, after a long pursuit of the very rare Qilin, the pure-hearted fawn who can designate the king of wizards. A magic wand ride through parties, dark prisons, amusement park caves, Himalayan villages. “Memory is everything. Without it, we are blind and leave the world to chance »says the prophecy. And if the dangerous relationship between Albus and Gellert is the trendy element of the fairy tale, the replacement of Johnny Depp as Grindelwald with Mads Mikkelsen is the stardom surge. It must be said that the change, an effect of the violence trial brought against Depp by ex-wife Amber Heard, does not produce any damage. Depp’s madness is replaced by Mikkelsen’s icy perfidy and the character acquires new light, allows interesting variations, grows in authority.
Acquitted in Berlin by the German Minister of Magic Anton Vogel (Oliver Masucci), Grindelwald uses hard ways to get to power and Dumbledore can do (almost) nothing about it. It’s up to the Scamander team to find the way to stop the villain: the impulsive brother Theseus (Callum Turner), the assistant Bunty (Victoria Yeates), the American colleague Lally (Jessica Williams), the predestined Yusuf Kama (William Nadylam), the pastry chef intrepid Jakob Kowalski (Dan Foglier) who has an unfinished business with his beloved Queenie (Alison Sudol). Meanwhile, Newt has to deal with the vampire Credence (Ezra Miller). Then there are the creatures. Few, according to aficionados of the saga: irrelevant tapestry in the stormy evolution of history. David Yates returns to the outline of the progenitor episode (2016). It proceeds by accumulation of suggestions but files excesses and digressions, accentuating the epic – romantic side of the storyworried about avoiding the deadly kiss with the Harry Potter adventures.
Remembered that Dumbledore’s Secrets and the third and (perhaps) final chapter of the saga from Fantastic beastsprequel and spin off of the Maghetto series, it must be said that two hours and 20 minutes of great dance there are too many and that the central part is the most confusing and repetitive. And now tell us that this is yet another metaphor of contemporary chaos.
