Lucknow: An attempt is being made to set the politics of Uttar Pradesh through posts. Samajwadi Party has once again released a new poster. In this, he has given the slogan of ‘Judenge to Jeetenge’. This slogan is being seen as the answer to Bharatiya Janata Party’s Batenge to Katenge. CM Yogi Adityanath had recently given the slogan ‘Bantenge to Katenge’ in the public meeting in Agra. Since then the discussion on this has continuously intensified. On the occasion of Diwali, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a new slogan during a public meeting organized in Gujarat. He has said that ‘if one is there then one is safe’. This is also being seen as an extension of ‘Bantenge to Katenge’. In fact, on the occasion of Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary, PM Narendra Modi put forward the life thread of the architect who tied the country together. However, now its political discussion has started. PM Modi’s words are being presented as per our own understanding. Right now politics seems to be heating up on this issue. At the same time, before the voting on 9 seats in Uttar Pradesh on November 13, the politics of the state is also heating up. Bharatiya Janata Party and Samajwadi Party are continuously trying to increase their lead on these seats. In such a situation, new slogans are being coined.
What is the new poster matter?
A new poster has been released by Samajwadi Party on the streets of the capital Lucknow. The slogan given in this poster is ‘If we join, we will win’. This poster has been released by Deoria’s Samajwadi Party leader and State Secretary Vijay Pratap Yadav. This is being seen as an answer to the slogan given by the Bharatiya Janata Party, ‘If you share, you will reap’.
Earlier, the ruling poster of twenty-seven was pasted in the Samajwadi Party office and many areas of the capital. Through this, slogans were raised for the victory of Akhilesh Yadav in UP elections 2027. Now an effort seems to be being made to unite the voters of UP through the new poster.
efforts to connect voters
In Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav is trying to advance his politics through PDA. He is trying to unite all the voters of the state. In such a situation, the slogan of ‘If we join, we will win’ is being carried forward rapidly. He is busy in uniting all the voters in favor of the party.
Attempt to surround the issues
Now SP has started trying to corner BJP on issues also. The issue of inflation was raised on the occasion of Diwali. SP President Akhilesh Yadav said that due to anti-people policies of BJP, the colors of festivals have faded. The prices of vegetables, food items and oil have increased so much that the aroma of dishes in homes is not able to come out of the kitchen. Under the BJP rule, the new use of the old idiom in ‘hyperinflation’ has become ‘expensive oil has taken away the public’s oil’. In BJP economics, the reason for increasing prices is not ‘increasing demand’, but increasing unbridled ‘profiteering’.
Akhilesh said that BJP is known for both profiteering and theft of sacks. Common people are going through many problems in daily life. At the same time, the government publishes big advertisements touting some development. If anything is happening in the name of development in the state, it is the development of crime and criminals. Besides, he also targeted Deepotsav.
Interview between Time.news Editor and Political Analyst
Editor: Welcome to Time.news. Today, we have the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Ananya Verma, a renowned political analyst specializing in Uttar Pradesh politics. Thank you for joining us, Dr. Verma.
Dr. Verma: Thank you for having me. It’s a pleasure to be here.
Editor: There’s a lot of political maneuvering happening in Uttar Pradesh right now, especially with the recent slogans from both the Samajwadi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party. What is your take on the significance of these slogans?
Dr. Verma: Absolutely, slogans are more than just catchy phrases; they are a reflection of political strategy. The Samajwadi Party’s slogan “Judenge to Jeetenge” is a direct response to the BJP’s “Bantenge to Katenge” which was popularized by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This exchange indicates a heated political battle where both parties are trying to frame the narrative as they head towards crucial elections.
Editor: It seems like every election cycle becomes a stage for this kind of verbal sparring. How effective do you think these slogans are for their respective parties in galvanizing support?
Dr. Verma: Slogans can be incredibly effective in politics, as they distill complex ideas into simple, memorable phrases. In this case, the Samajwadi Party is emphasizing unity and collaborative strength with “Judenge to Jeetenge,” which might resonate well with voters who value community and collective action. On the other hand, the BJP’s “Bantenge to Katenge” conveys a sense of urgency and toughness, appealing to voters who might prioritize a strong leadership image.
Editor: There was also an interesting statement from Prime Minister Narendra Modi that ties into this conversation, saying “if one is there then one is safe”. How do you interpret this comment within the current political climate?
Dr. Verma: Modi’s rhetoric can be seen as an attempt to reinforce a sense of security among voters, especially considering that this statement extends the theme of division versus unity that both parties are currently highlighting. Particularly as the elections approach, Modi’s comments may aim to consolidate support around the BJP by portraying them as the party that ensures safety and stability against division, which is a significant fear in today’s political landscape.
Editor: With elections coming up in just a few days and the dynamic between these parties heating up, how do you forecast the results?
Dr. Verma: It’s quite challenging to make predictions, especially in a politically diverse state like Uttar Pradesh. However, the fervor of the slogans suggests that both parties are cognizant of the stakes. The BJP has an established voter base, but the Samajwadi Party’s efforts to rekindle alliances may sway some key demographics. Voter turnout will greatly influence the results, and how effectively each party communicates its message leading up to the polls will be crucial.
Editor: Fascinating insights, Dr. Verma. As we always say, the political landscape in Uttar Pradesh is anything but simple. Thank you for your valuable input today.
Dr. Verma: Thank you. It’s always enlightening to discuss the complex tapestry of Uttar Pradesh politics.
