Actress Park Shin-hye is transforming her acting.
At the production conference for the Friday-Saturday drama “Judge from Hell” held at SBS Hall in Mokdong, Seoul on the 19th, Park Shin-hye said, “‘Bitna’ is not the typical villain character,” and “The perspective is different. This drama is about a devil ‘Kang Bit-na’ (Park Shin-hye) who has taken over the body of a judge and meets the humane detective ‘Hana On’ (Kim Jae-young) to punish criminals in a reality that is more hellish than hell. Park Shin-hye said, “The script was interesting and the scenes unfolded in my head like a movie. Rather than thinking, ‘I definitely have to transform my acting,’ I was curious about how people would react if I showed this side of myself.” “I was also excited about how much fun and different experiences I would have playing this character,” she said. “Don’t we all have different personalities as we live? I thought about what kind of work I could show the experiences I’ve accumulated, and Bit-na felt like a colorful character.”
The film ‘You Are My Destiny’ (2005) will be directed by Park Jin-pyo. Director Park said, “Park Shin-hye has played many candy characters so far, but I think she has greed and desire behind it as an actress.” He added, “She also has to be radiant and lovely, and after thinking about an actress with both sides, we unanimously cast Park Shin-hye. I’m cautious because it’s before the broadcast, but you’ll be surprised beyond your imagination and fall in love with Park Shin-hye.”
