jpnn.com – JAKARTA – The trial of the alleged election violation case has begun to proceed in court. One of them is the alleged falsification of data and voter lists for the 2024 election in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This case is rolling at the Central Jakarta District Court and is on the agenda for hearing an interim decision, Thursday (14/3).

The Panel of Judges stated that they rejected the objection or exception notes of two defendants, namely non-active members of the Kuala Lumpur Overseas Election Committee (PPLN) Aprijon and Masduki Khamdan Muchamad.

“On trial, the objections of the legal advisors of defendant four (Aprijon) and defendant seven (Masduki Khamdan Muchamad) were rejected,” said Presiding Judge Buyung Dwikora in an interim decision hearing at the Central Jakarta District Court, Thursday.

The panel of judges considered that the defendant’s objections submitted through his legal authority had entered into the subject of the case, so it had to be proven in court.

Apart from that, regarding the defendant’s objection stating that the indictment had expired, the panel of judges stated that this was not the authority of the panel examining the case.

Therefore, the indictment is declared valid according to the law.

“Ordered the public prosecutor to continue examining the case,” said Buyung.
