The official kick-off of the 2024 judicial year at the level of the judicial district of the Court of Appeal of Rabat, follows the official opening at the national level at the Court of Cassation on January 15, 2024, organized with the high approval of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, as tradition dictates.

Mr. Abdelkabir also reviewed the performance of judicial action at the level of the investigating magistrate and other judicial activities in the various courts of the judicial district and presented the program for the judicial year 2024.

In a statement to the press, the Attorney General of the King at the Court of Appeal of Rabat, Abdelaziz Raji, indicated that this tradition of launching the judicial year constitutes an opportunity to take stock of the efforts made by magistrates and justice executives in the various jurisdictions of the Kingdom during the past year.

This session, he said, is also an opportunity to explore future prospects with a view to promoting the judicial system and achieving judicial efficiency, in accordance with the strategic plan developed by the Higher Council of the Judiciary, specifying that it is also an opportunity to strengthen the openness of the judiciary to its environment.

The ceremony, which took place in the presence of the Attorney General of the King at the Court of Cassation, President of the Public Prosecution Service, El Hassan Daki, several judicial officials and representatives of government departments, was marked by the presentation of Royal Wissams that HM King Mohammed VI was kind enough to award to a number of magistrates.
