About a week and a half ago, a campaign was launched to rescue Karin Bauman, who has been battling anorexia for nearly two decades. The campaign called on the public to open their pockets and hearts and try to help Karin fight for her life, after her condition recently deteriorated and she is now in real life danger.
Yehudit Bauman, Karin’s mother and Shimi Tavori’s wife, is very careful to share with social media followers Karin’s condition, who is currently making another effort to try to be hospitalized in the Department of Eating Disorders in an effort to save her. Tonight (Wednesday), in a broken voice and tiredness, Bauman updated her followers on Karin’s condition, after she decided to try to be hospitalized again in the eating disorders ward and arrived with her yesterday (Tuesday) at the hospital.
Bauman opens the video with an update on how she spent most of the day yesterday with Karin in the emergency room in hopes that they would eventually agree to be hospitalized in the eating disorder ward. Unfortunately for Bauman, and not for the first time as she has previously revealed, Karin has been offered to be hospitalized in the inpatient ward, where she will undergo further tests to determine if she is fit to move to the eating disorder ward. “I hold myself tight not to break down,” she said. “As a mother I have a strong instinct. I hospitalized her last night. At 12 at night she asked me to bring her food and my heart was torn,” she said and smoothly could not bring her the food because it was fed through a tube and it would hurt treatment. “I stayed frozen. She was mad at me for not coming. I waited a few hours to see if she would like me to come sit with her.
