jpnn.comJAKARTA – The comic character Si Juki joined in enlivening the Indonesian Emergency Commemoration demonstration in front of the DPR/MPR Building today, Thursday (22/08).
Si Juki is a fictional character created by comic artist Faza Meonk about the lives of boarding house children and students.
Juki’s presence is not the first time. Juki also participated in a student demonstration supporting the strengthening of the KPK in 2019.
This time, Juki came wearing a t-shirt with the words “It’s better to sleep than to be careless” #sumpahudahtired
Meanwhile, today’s demonstration was carried out by various levels of society to reject the enactment of the Pilkada Bill into law by the DPR.
This student and community movement defending democracy emerged after the DPR was deemed to have opposed the Constitutional Court (MK) ruling on the Regional Election Law.(mcr8/jpnn.com)
