Surprise in the German attack: According to “Bild”, national coach Julian Nagelsmann nominated Tim Kleindienst to the national team. The Borussia Mönchengladbach striker is supposed to replace the injured Niclas Füllkrug, who has been out with an Achilles tendon injury since Germany’s game against Hungary at the beginning of September.
The DFB did not confirm this news on Wednesday when asked by the sports information service. Nagelsmann will announce his squad on Thursday morning.
