The ex-president Mauricio Macri spoke last night during an interview with LN+ about him attack against Cristina Kirchner and stated that those responsible are “a group of crazy people”. This morning, the national senator of the Frente de Todos (FdT) Juliana Di Tullio replied in radio statements: “There are no wolves on the loose. they do have membership”.
However, the Kirchnerist legislator maintained: “I have no proof to say who they belong to.” In dialogue with The Uncover Radio, Di Tullio stated that the founder of Pro “does not think” what he said. “He says it because he has to say it, but he doesn’t even believe it,” he added.
During the interview on LN+, Macri referred to the assassination attempt against the vice president. The former president recalled that he felt a “shock” when he heard the news that occurred on the night of Thursday, September 1, and spoke of the “grotesque overreaction” by the ruling party in the face of the violent event.
In part of the conversation, the Pro leader talked about prioritizing investments. He pointed out, for example, against the nationalization of the national airline, Argentinian airlines: “We don’t have to pay for a bus that flies from the State. We don’t put a dollar more. If they can’t live on the ticket sales, it will disappear. If there are other airlines that do it: Flybondi, Jetsmart, Latam. They get by with what the traveler pays.”
The journalist Luis Majul pointed out to Macri that the privatizations could “generate a lot of people on the street, security forces and, eventually, sorry, deaths. Do they bank it? ”, He asked, referring to the political leaders. “The leadership has to bank it,” replied the former president. “There should be no deaths. There should be a serious discussion of ideas. A guild cannot act like a mafia,” he added.
Di Tullio harshly questioned the former president: “A leadership banks dead. What does that mean? An undemocratic leadership, right? It is an absurd confession and it is an aggressive agreement call with his voters. It is an apology for crime.”
For the official senator, such statements are “a break” of democracy. “There is an organization of violence and that materializes in concrete, violent events. I’m not saying that they do it, but they create a climate where someone is encouraged to do it,” added Di Tullio.
The legislator pointed against Macri once again when she referred to public works and its management: “I was born and live in Morón. I saw my dad pay twice for the sewer that Macri didn’t make for the Moronese. If there is someone who made his fortune from public works, it is called Mauricio Macri, not Néstor Kirchner, nor Cristina, nor Julio de Vido”.
