Midnight Prayer and Lit Minarets
As the country transitions from July 15 to July 16, at precisely 00:13, a special prayer, known as the “Sela,” will be recited in all mosques. Minaret lights will remain illuminated throughout the night until dawn. On the morning of Wednesday, July 16, all mosques will host morning prayer gatherings.
Community Commemorations and Visits
In city squares, commemoration activities will feature recitations of the Quran and prayers. Additionally, delegations from provincial and district muftis will conduct visits to martyrs’ families and veterans, honoring their sacrifices and contributions.
Eighty-one thousand recitations of the Quran are planned across all provincial muftiates. The “Sela,” a specific call to prayer, will be broadcast from minarets, symbolizing unity and remembrance during this significant day.
