Paris-Nice has made it clear that at the moment Tadej Pogacar is walking more than Jonas Vingegaard, something that, however, does not take away Jumbo-Visma’s sleep, who has a different preparation and remembers that last year for the same time, the situation was the same and yet they ended up defeating the Slovenian in July.

Are you concerned about Vingegaard’s form? “I slept well the last few nights. We can be absolutely satisfied with Jonas’s condition”, emphasized a Niermann aware that the approach plan is going correctly. “He has a solid base, he already demonstrated it in O Gran Camiño. The main goal is still the Tour de France,” he explained.

It is true that they are not equal cyclists in many aspects, especially in how they face races that are not the Tour, because while Jonas has a very elaborate plan where it does not matter if he wins or not, Pogacar does have the interest of fattening his bag of triumphs and provide a show -without that meaning that it is on top-.
