Junaeb has stated that the new tender will be extended for two years, so that this delay does not occur again in 2025.

The national director of the National Board of School Aid and Scholarships (Junaeb), Camila Rubio Araya, together with the mayor of Lo Espejo, Javiera Reyes, participated in the Delivery of the School Supplies Program at Blue Star College School.

Junaeb stressed that students will not have to apply for this benefit, since it will be available to 100% of students in public schools at the primary, secondary and adult levels.

“As we promised at the beginning of July, this week we began delivering school supplies in different municipalities of the country. I want to confirm that this purchasing process was carried out over a two-year period, with the aim of ensuring that the 2025 supplies are delivered during the first half of the year without any problems. We know how important this contribution is for families and students. Our commitment is to move forward steadily in improvements that effectively contribute to equal opportunities for children, youth and adults who are part of the school system,” emphasized the national director of Junaeb, Camila Rubio Araya.

The kits, which will include notebooks with educational material related to healthy living, contain the following materials:

  • Preschool Education: Collective set for 12 students containing, for example, modelling clay, tempera paints, wax crayons, among others.
  • First Cycle (1st to 4th grade): Student set includes notebooks, rulers, colored pencils, and more.
  • Second Cycle (5th to 7th basic): Set per student that includes gel pencils, notebooks, and other school supplies.
  • Second Cycle (8th basic): Set that includes a scientific calculator, notebooks, and other items specific to the level.
  • Secondary education (1st to 4th): Student set that includes mechanical pencil, corrector, and other tools.
  • Teaching for Youth and Adults: Set for each student that includes larger notebooks, gel pens, and other items appropriate for the age and level.
  • Special Education Needs Education: It is made up of 29 articles oriented to arts and crafts such as foam rubber, cardboard, glue, among others.
