The Under-17 Women’s World Cup is being held in India for the first time. The tournament which started yesterday will be held in 3 places namely Bhubaneswar, Goa and Navi Mumbai till 30th. 16 countries are participating in it.
In this case, the Indian women’s football team faced the strong American women’s team in a match held in Bhubaneswar on the opening day.
The American players showed intensity from the start and scored one goal after another. Melina Rebimbas Bray scored the maximum 2 goals for the team. Attempts by the Indian players to score in return did not bear fruit. The American Junior Football team won 8-0 as the Indian team did not score until the end.
