Just before Independence Day: The recall that could affect barbecues

Another recall: Carmel Delicacies Ltd. announced today (Tuesday) that in an inspection conducted by the Tel Aviv Health Bureau Food Service, Clostridium Perperings’ bacterium was found at a level that is above what is allowed in the standard in the product: “Acorn mint kebab”.

The company states that the defective product has an expiration date: 19.6.2022, and a production date: 19.4.2022. It was also reported that consumers who have the product are asked not to consume it. The Clostridium perforations bacterium at very high levels can cause intestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain and diarrhea.

As you may recall, this is another recall in the food industry in Israel after Strauss announced that routine inspections conducted at Elite’s chocolate factory revealed a number of samples with salmonella in the factory’s production line and in chocolate used as a raw material to create products.
