This song, like other songs, was written and produced before the Corona virus took over the world. Sandy was working on an entire album at his home in the US, and planned to produce and record it here in Israel, but in retrospect this did not happen, because the corona popped into our lives.
Sandy stopped the work, returned to the US and in retrospect has not been in Israel for more than two years. Now with the easing of restrictions – he is coming to Israel to finish the work on his decade album.
Just before Rosh Chodesh Adar II, he releases the “one”- A single he wrote and composed. “I came to a family event in Israel and on that occasion I put out my song and intend to finish the work on the album,” Sandy shares.
Sandy, who lives with his family in Queens, New York, performs there a lot at concerts, events and concerts. Teaches music and conducts choirs at New York yeshivas, and also acts as a music instructor, arranger and director.
“The purpose of my writing, always,” reveals Shmueli, “is to sanctify the name of heaven. Sometimes I write myself, and sometimes compose words from the sources. The inspiration I had in the song” One “is to recognize the power of the Creator of the world.”
