UPI is also known as United Payment Interface. That means you can link one’s bank accounts to a smartphone and easily transfer money to someone through mobile apps. No need to go to the bank to pick up or send money. Today most of the smartphone owners have started using UPI Payment.
But as technology grows, so do scams. There are 5 simple ways to escape from these scams in the digital world.
UPI Pin
Our UPI PIN should not be given to anyone for any reason. It should not be given to government officials, especially those who claim to be bank officials. Those who talk on the phone like this need to upgrade their bank account and easily share the UPI number. No such UPI PIN should be provided on request.
UPI reversal
A user of the UPI Processor will need to change the UPI PIN number frequently. If not changed once a month, change at least once a quarter.
UPI Transfer Protocol
You need to lock the UPI processor with the aim of transferring only a certain amount daily. Maybe the smartphone has been hacked, or lost and no one can even think of withdrawing money through the UPI processor.
Mobile Security:
Always keep the smartphone locked. Under no circumstances should a mobile phone be given to a newcomer, nor to a person claiming to be a government official. No real government official would ever listen to someone else’s cell phone.
