jpnn.com – The Concord game was not well received, forcing PlayStation to discontinue the new game’s live service.

Concord is a game developed by Firewalk, and was just launched on August 23rd.

PlayStation will reportedly issue refunds to players.

The team-based first-person shooter reportedly failed to catch on with audiences, initially available on PlayStation 5 and PC.

Third-party SteamDB shows that only 30 players are currently in the game as of publication on Tuesday.

At its peak in its short history, “Concord” had 697 concurrent players, extremely low for a new PlayStation release, and ranked near the bottom of the PlayStation weekly sales charts.

With so few people playing “Concord,” opponents became very hard to come by during the game.

“Concord fans, we’ve been listening closely to your feedback since Concord launched on PlayStation 5 and PC, and want to thank everyone who has joined us on the journey aboard Northstar,” wrote Firewalk Studios game director Ryan Ellis.
