The 36-year-old Lithuanian will join the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA Summer League.

I will try to take as much knowledge as possible, see as many players as possible and come back to work in Uten with new ideas. During the summer league, the work in the Utena club will definitely not stop, we have lists, we have players and we will continue to work not from Lithuania, but from Las Vegas”, Vytautas Buz said about the possibility of an internship in the NBA.
The NBA Summer League will be held July 12-22 in Las Vegas.
Ute’s Jonas Valančiūnas also wore the shirt of the New Orleans Pelicans for three years, but this summer the tall player signed a contract with another NBA club – from now on he will represent the Washington Wizards team.
Vytautas Buz joined Utena’s team in the summer of 2023 and worked as Oliver Kostić’s assistant last season. After the season, V. Buz took over the helm of Uniclub Casino – Juventus, and also became the sports director of the Utena club.
