Juventus coach Thiago Motta has received a new blow after one of the team’s new arrivals was injured.

Juventus signed Nicolas Gonzalez from Fiorentina during the summer, and he made his debut for the Old Lady in last Sunday’s match against Roma, where he participated as a substitute.
Gonzalez was injured while playing with his national team, Argentina, against Chile, in the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
Gonzalez left the field in the (51) minute, affected by an injury he suffered at the beginning of the second half, and was unable to complete the match.
Although Gonzalez was believed to have suffered a muscle injury, DAZN and several other sources said the Juventus winger was suffering from an ankle problem.
Juventus are now threatened with losing two of their new players, especially after the injury of another new arrival, Francisco Conceicao, who suffered a muscle injury that will keep him out of the stadiums for a month.
