Juventus players celebrate

Juventus won 3-0 against Como and started their Serie A campaign on the right foot. The goals came from Empangula (23′), Weah (45’+1′), and Campiaso (90′) for Thiago Motta’s team.
It was an ideal debut for Juventus in Serie A. The Bianconeri triumphed 3-0 over Como without facing much difficulty and began the new league season positively.
The “Old Lady” fortunate to take the lead in the 23rd minute with Samuel Empangula scoring on his debut. The 20-year-old Belgian made a run from the left and slotted the ball home past Reina for 1-0.
Thiago Motta’s team went into halftime with a two-goal advantage after Weah made it 2-0 in the first minute of stoppage time. Yıldız entered the box from the left, made a cutback, and the 24-year-old struck with a left-footed shot into the net.
The icing on the cake for Juventus came from Campiaso in the 90th minute with a very nice goal. The 24-year-old midfielder cut inside and with a splendid left-footed shot made it 3-0 for the hosts.
Earlier, Atalanta crushed Lecce 4-0 away, starting their journey in this year’s Serie A in the best possible way. The Europa League holders opened the scoring in the 35th minute with Brescia, who scored again in the 66th after two goals from Retegui, first in the 45th and then in the 57th from the penalty spot.
