Juventus Turin will be deprived for at least ten days of their striker Angel Di Maria, hit Monday evening in the left thigh during his first official match with the Bianconeri (3-0), the Italian club announced on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old Argentinian, who arrived this summer from Paris SG, was “submitted this morning (Tuesday) to radiological examinations which revealed a low-grade lesion of the adductor longus muscle of the left thigh”said Juve on its website. “His situation will be assessed again in ten days”added the club.

Di Maria made a successful debut with the “Old Lady” on Monday night by opening the scoring with a volley then offering the third goal to Serbian Dusan Vlahovic. But he had to leave shortly after the hour mark, suffering from the left thigh.
The minimum stoppage time announced by Juve will cause them to miss at least the next two league matches, against Sampdoria (August 22) and AS Roma (August 27).
