New Delhi: BRS leader and MLA K. Kavitha has got bail in the money laundering case related to the Delhi Excise Policy scam. The Supreme Court today granted her bail, giving her relief in both the ED and CBI cases. Along with this, the Supreme Court has also asked questions to the CBI and ED.
Let us tell you that the Delhi High Court had rejected K Kavitha’s bail plea. After which today the Supreme Court has overturned the decision of the High Court. The Supreme Court has granted bail to K Kavitha on a bond of Rs 10 lakh each. Along with this, the court has directed her not to influence the witnesses and not to tamper with the evidence.

After K Kavitha got bail from the Supreme Court, BRS party member Krishank expressed his happiness on social media. He wrote that no evidence was presented in 164 days in jail. The false allegations made against K Kavitha could not be proven. BJP lost, Kavitha won. Thank you Supreme Court.

ED had accused of destroying evidence

ED had made several serious allegations against K Kavitha in the money laundering case related to the excise policy case. In its charge sheet, ED had accused BRS leader K Kavitha of destroying many evidences to hide her role in the case. ED said in the charge sheet that they had found 9 mobile phones from K Kavitha but all of them were formatted. There was no data in any of them. ED also said that K Kavitha had booked a room in a five star hotel for Rs 10 lakh. Along with this, K Kavitha was also involved in influencing the witnesses.
