K. Muraleedharan Death: Renowned South Indian film producer K Muraleedharan passed away due to heart attack. He died at Kumbakonam in his native Tamil Nadu.

K Muralidharan is the founder of Lakshmi Movie Makers, which has produced several hit films. His sudden demise, who was also the former president of the Tamil Producers Council, has left the entire Tamil film world in tears.

Celebrities from the film industry paid their respects on his death. “Producer K Muralidharan of Lakshmi Movie Makers who produced many hits is not with us today. Dear Siva, I remember those days. Tributes,” actor Kamal Haasan tweeted. The superstar has worked with K Muralidharan in the movie Anbe Shivam.

Comedian Manobala, producers KT Kunjumon, Dhananjayan and others also condoled his demise.

K. Muralidharan started a production house called Lakshmi Movie Makers along with his partners V Swaminathan and G Venugopal. The production house produced films like Anbe Shivam, Puthupettai and Bhagavathy. Kamal Haasan, Simbu, Karthik, Vijay, Dhanush and many other prominent actors have worked with him.

Muralidharan started his filmmaking journey with the film Aranmanai Kavalan which was released in 1994. Sarathkumar was the hero of the film. Later he produced many hit films like Ambe Sivam, Puthupettai and Bhagavathy. His last film was Sakalakala Vallavan. It was released in 2015.
