KPCC president K Sudhakaran MP said that if communist leader R Sugathan was alive, he would have said that instead of the secretariat, the assembly building should be demolished and a scrapyard should be built there. Sugathan said this earlier about the Secretariat, but now it applies to both places. He said that the Kerala Legislative Assembly, which has reached the height of decay, has become a haven for terrorists who trample on democratic rights and beat up members of the opposition.
Instead of spending Rs 36,28,594 to meet the Legislative Assembly for eight or ten minutes a day, that money should be utilized for something else that will benefit the people. Pinarayi Vijayan is now going to be known as the Chief Minister who scrapped the emergency resolution under Rule 50 which presents the burning issues of the people. Church TV, which is run by spending lakhs of people’s money, is now running like a party channel.
Church TV is completely biased as it shows only the faces of the ruling party members and only listens to their speeches. Pinarayi’s police once again proved their royal devotion by taking a non-bailable case against 7 opposition MLAs who were brutally beaten and a bailable case against 2 members of the ruling party. Sudhakaran also said that Minister Muhammad Riaz, who called the opposition a banana, has the backbone of a street thug.
