Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said, dear countrymen, the energy crisis including water, electricity and gas is global today. Bangladesh is not isolated from this. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged the nation to save them. I am making a special request to the people of the country to respond to this call and practice austerity.

In a video message on Thursday (April 11) on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, he made this request by wishing the countrymen Eid on behalf of Awami League.

Obaidul Quader said, we are motivated by patriotism from the power of moderation. May the strength of this festival be united against all conspiracies and terrorism. Let the fight to build a developed, prosperous and smart Bangladesh under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina continue at a steady pace by breaking the web of all open and secret conspiracies.

He said that the holy Eid-ul-Fitr has brought a message of happiness after fasting for a month. It is one of the main religious festivals of Bangladesh and the Muslim world. May the world society be filled with peace and harmony with the glorious call of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. And let the flame of humanism rise in every human heart. Let’s share the happiness of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr through mutual cooperation and sympathy, regardless of the rich and poor, religion, caste, tribe, caste and community.

Regarding the Eid trip, the Minister of Road Transport and Bridges said that before the Eid, the unbroken crowd of people from their homes has been seen this time as well. Many people were afraid of public suffering with the Eid trip. However, with everyone’s sincere efforts and cooperation, all doubts and apprehensions have been dispelled, and this year’s Eid journey has been relatively comfortable. I express my sincere thanks and gratitude to those who worked tirelessly to make the Eid trip comfortable.
