Thiruvananthapuram: Tiger movie continues to run successfully in theaters to packed audiences. Director Shaji Kailas is directing a film after a long gap. Shaji Kailas said that he was happy with the tiger’s victory in one word on Facebook. Prithviraj responded by saying that the journalist’s question was not Prithviraj who gave a re-entry to Shaji Kailas.
“I didn’t bring the entry to Shajietan. My biggest request was for Shajietan to direct this film. In 2019, it has been a few years since Shajietan did a Malayalam film. Then I told Shajietan that there is a script. After reading it, Chettan feels that this is the film he should make as a comeback in Malayalam cinema. Chettan should do this film. Chettan should direct it. If you do, I can act and produce it,” said Prithviraj.

The actor asked to never say that Prithviraj brought back Shaji Kailas. I am 100% sure that Shaji Kailas would have made such a grand comeback with another Malayalam film if not for Tiger. Prithvi added that if there was a comeback, he was a part of it or because of it.
25 crore in four days; Tiger roars at the box office
Katuva’s collection report responds to the discussions that the Malayali audience has given up mass masala films. According to the crew, Prithvi’s film earned a gross collection of 25 crores within four days of its release.

Filmed on a budget of Rs 20 crore, the film hit the theaters on July 7. Tiger has become the biggest hit of Prithvi’s career. Katuva is Prithvi’s fourth consecutive blockbuster hit film. This is also the third consecutive hit film under Listyn Stephen’s Magic Frames and Supriya Menonta’s Prithviraj Productions.
Apart from Kerala, the team members have shared the collection report from other states of Gulf and India. Prithvi’s biggest hit film “Janaganamana” collected in eight days and Tiger collected in four days. The weekend of its release also happened to be the Bakrid holiday, so the collection from the Gulf region increased.
