jpnn.comJAKARTA – Political observer Jamiluddin Ritonga considers it reckless to pair the PSI General Chairperson who is also the son of Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Kaesang Pangarep with senior Golkar politician Jusuf Hamka or Babah Alun.
“It seems careless and just to please the boss or ABS,” said Jamiluddin to the media crew, Saturday (13/7).
Because, said the former dean of FIKOM IISIP, Kaesang is a figure who has not achieved anything and lacks experience in politics to manage Jakarta which has complex problems.
“His capacity is not yet worthy of being governor, especially in Jakarta,” said Jamiluddin.
Moreover, he said, Kaesang was paired with Babah Alun, who has a wealth of experience as the 2024 Jakarta Deputy Governor Candidate.
“Everyone knows Jusuf Hamka is a successful businessman who has a lot of experience and achievements,” he said.
The idea of pairing Kaesang with Babah Alun was expressed by Golkar General Chair Airlangga Hartarto on Thursday (11/7).
Airlangga revealed the idea after receiving Kaesang and PSI officials at the Coordinating Minister for the Economy’s residence, Jakarta, Thursday.
