/ Al-Kahraba Club coach, Louay Salah, revealed on Sunday that he had divided the team into two parts, one of which completed the Iraq Stars League matches, and the other left for Basra in preparation for facing the Syrian Al-Ittihad Ahli Aleppo club in the AFC Cup competitions.

Salah said in the match’s press conference, followed by Agency, “We prepared well for the match, and we were forced to divide the team into two parts. One team played the Newroz match in the Iraq Stars League, and the other part left for Basra to avoid fatigue.”

He added, “The Asian Football Confederation has not informed us of the official qualification until now, and we will play to win to ensure qualification.”

He pointed out that “the nature of the AFC Cup is not compensable, unlike the league championship,” noting, “We bet on the team’s progressive performance in the tournament and we succeeded in that despite the strength of the group.”

Salah pointed out that “the club’s management provided us with all the requirements for success despite the limited financial budget compared to other clubs.”

The Al-Kahraba and Al-Ahly Aleppo Syrian Union match will take place tomorrow, Monday, at Basra International Stadium at seven in the evening.

It was decided that Al-Kahraba will wear the orange kit, while the goalkeepers’ kit will be yellow, and the Aleppo Ahli Union team will wear the full white kit, and its goalkeepers will wear black.
